At this point in time, it is impossible to send mail to Suzie. She is only allowed e-mails from immediate family. And snail mail takes about three weeks, which is about how long she will be in the Brasil MTC. There is no pouch service to Brasil, so we will have to be patient until she gets assigned to her first area. Sorry! She will be relieved once she gets settled in a place for a while and can get mail. In the meantime, I am e-mailing her every week so if you post a short comment on this site I will attach it to my e-mail for her. ~Karen~

Hey Suzie! So pretty much I love you like everything and yeah! Prom was really fun :) My dress was black and gorgeous and kinda 20's style. You'd love it for sure! I graduate in like 3 weeks!!! I'm so excited for summer. I'll be working a TON but hey! Monies are good, eh?
Rachel took my senior pictures today at like 8 in the morning ha so i look kinda crazy and I slept in my contacts so my eyes are freaking bloodshot :-S ha my family will think i'm on drugs but whatever i'm too lazy to take more ha i'm really late sending them out anyways!
So as soon as I can, I'm going to send you the prom pictures and my graduation announcement. :)
In chamber choir we're doing this arrangement of God Be With You that Gabe did and it's gorgeous! I just think of you the whole time :) But then you have all the annoying choir girls that feel the need to cry every time REALLY loud and it's getting old :-S I know i'm horrible to say that, but it's EVERY TIME we sing that song. Yes, it's beautiful, but ladies, let's keep it together, mk?! Okay i'm done venting..
Work is going really well. It's WAAAAY harder than I thought it would be, which is freaking amazing! I really love learning weird stuff. It's been way chill and fun. I'm really happy there.
I got Regina's cd 11:11 which is like 7 years old but SOOO good! I felt really stupid that I hadn't ever listened to it.. It's for sure my favorite out of her albums. It's hardcore JAZZ which is my current obsession.
So for mother's day we're all going up to Rachel's house and I'm excited to chill with my family. Okay, can I just say that my favorite part of growing up so far is that I LOVE hanging out with my family so much more now?? It's like I can't get enough of them. And Jakey blends in SO well with my whole family. My dad like talks about him all the time and all my sisters treat him like he's already their brother. It's so amazing.
OH!! Speaking of which!!! Big freaking news! Jakey got me a promise ring from Dancing Cranes!!!!!!! It's GORGEOUS!! he let me pick it out and everything! It's silver and has a garnet stone (redish purple that signifies love and commitment) and looks all antique-y and I love it so much. I got him a silver band too :)
Anywaaaaays yeah.. that's my life right now in a nut shell! The band will be going soon I hope :) I need to work on a few songs.. I might be singing at my cousin Jesse's wedding in august so I'm trying to find a song I can do.. it's a fat line between what I consider a love song and what the rest of the world does, you know??
but yes! I adore you and I know that you're doing amazing and I think about you all the days. I'm saving up tons of songs to show you and I love you okay?! Lots and lots and lots and lots!!
